World of Concrete 2027 exhibits are open January 19 to 21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), in the North, Central, and South Halls and on the outdoor Silver and Bronze Lots. For a World of Concrete trade show booth on an island, display material and signage stop at 26 feet, but equipment and product have no height limit.
Booth height limits by type
The island rule covers booths of 20×20 or larger with aisles on all four sides. The 26-foot limit includes hanging signs and applies when the ceiling height permits.
In a linear booth, the back 5 feet can go to 12 feet, equipment and product included, and the front 5 feet to 4 feet. A 14-foot machine can stand on an island but would be 2 feet over at the back of a linear booth. Anything taller than 8 feet 3 inches must be professionally finished or draped on the back. Perimeter booths can go to 16 feet in the back 5 feet.
Low ceilings and hanging signs
The 2027 specifications list a 25-foot ceiling over Central Hall aisles C3400 to C3900 and South Hall aisles S10000 to S12300. Islands in these areas can’t use the full 26 feet. The specifications also note a lower ceiling of 20 feet, 19 to 29 feet wide, along the south wall of Hall 1. Check your booth number against these areas before you design.
Hanging signs go over islands only, at least 9 feet from the floor to the bottom of the sign. The show’s general service contractor (GSC), Freeman, installs every ceiling or truss sign and must approve the rigging if you or your exhibitor-appointed contractor (EAC) hang a sign over 250 pounds from equipment. No signage is allowed on the back of a back wall or sidewall, lighting and sound must stay within the booth, and demonstrations can’t sit on a booth edge along an aisle.
Engineered plans and who can install your booth
Canopies, covered booths, and multi-story booths need certified structural plans submitted to show management and the LVCC at least two months before move-in.
For any EAC, the LVCC requires its $250 annual permit, a business license, and insurance that meets the LVCC’s contractor requirements.
