The height limits come from the Vision Expo 2027 show rules. Ceiling heights are building measurements, not build limits. Confirm the rules in the Vision Expo exhibitor manual before you design.

Vision Expo 2027 is in Halls A and B of the Venetian Expo, Las Vegas, March 10 to 13. The 2027 show rules set the height limit by booth type, and by size for islands, so settle both before you design a Vision Expo trade show booth. Signs, truss, and lighting can’t go above that limit.
Height limits by booth type
Linear booths are capped at 8 feet and peninsulas at 15 feet. Linear and peninsula booths must have a finished back wall that covers the back of the booth, and see-through back walls aren’t allowed. Any wall above drape height that faces a neighbor must be finished, neutral, and free of copy. Islands can reach 20 feet up to 999 square feet and 28 feet at 1,000 square feet or more. All booths in the Independent Design area of Hall B are capped at 8 feet, and that area allows no custom booths, hanging signs, or pop-up banners.
A 30×30 island is 900 square feet, so it tops out at 20 feet. A 20×50 island is 1,000 square feet and qualifies for 28 feet.
Hanging signs are allowed only over island, peninsula, and walk-through booths of 400 square feet or more (20×20 or larger), and not in the Independent Design area or the Innovation Center. The top of the sign must stay within the height limit for the booth type and at or below 25 feet, measured from the floor to the top of the sign.
Deadlines and move-in
Freeman, the general service contractor (GSC), offers discount prices on carpet, graphics, and labor orders placed by February 8, 2027. The Venetian Expo’s discount deadline is February 10, 2027 for electrical, internet, hanging sign rigging labor with motors or electrical, and the multi-level and covered booth application.
Advance freight goes to Freeman’s warehouse between February 8 and March 2, 2027. Move-in starts March 8 for booths of 1,200 square feet or more, March 9 for 400 square feet or more, and March 10 for all exhibitors. Every booth must be set by 5:00 p.m. on March 10. All booths need flame-retardant floor covering, and Freeman will carpet any booth without it by the close of move-in at the exhibitor’s cost.
Installation and contractor rules
Your own full-time employees, Freeman labor, or an exhibitor-appointed contractor (EAC) can handle installation and dismantle (I&D). Designate your EAC in the portal by February 8, 2027. The EAC pays a $300 administrative fee for each booth or meeting room it services, whatever the work, and must upload its certificate of insurance by February 22, 2027, or it will be denied floor access. Electrical service and motorized rigging are exclusive to the Venetian Expo. Confirm who hangs your sign with the show and the venue.
