Last checked: October 2026
The SupplySide Global 2026 expo hall was scheduled for October 28 to 30, 2026, in the Bayside and Shoreline halls at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Informa’s annual show draws attendees from the dietary supplement, food and beverage, pet health, and personal care industries. For a SupplySide Global trade show booth, the 2026 rules cap island structures at 16 feet, well under the halls’ 30-foot ceilings.
Booth and sign height limits in 2026
On an island, a ground-supported identification sign can reach 20 feet, and any structure above the 16-foot cap can only support that sign.
Mandalay Bay’s fire rules require two separate (remote) exits from any upper level larger than 300 square feet, and covered booths larger than 1,000 square feet that stand more than seven days need sprinklers. The 2026 booth rules also require advance written approval from show management and the fire marshal for roofed or double-deck booths.
Inline and corner booths can go to 8 feet 3 inches in the rear 5 feet and 4 feet in the front 5 feet, so tall graphics and shelving belong at the back. For three or more combined inline booths, the 4-foot limit applies only within 10 feet of an adjoining booth.
Hanging signs are allowed only over islands of 20×20 or larger. With approval, a sign can hang up to 20 feet from floor to top, set back 10 feet from adjacent booths. Except for cloth and vinyl banners, signs need engineered rigging points and drawings with a structural engineer’s stamp.
Encore Event Technologies is Mandalay Bay’s exclusive rigging contractor. Under Mandalay Bay’s rules, GES, the 2026 show’s general service contractor (GSC), may hang only non-electrical signs under 200 pounds (the venue’s planning guide says 200 pounds or less; its August 2025 vendor policy says under 200 pounds, in concrete areas only). Signs of 200 pounds or more go to Encore; confirm who rigs a lit sign with the show and the venue.
Setup labor and flooring at the 2026 show
Under GES’s 2026 work rules, Teamsters Local 631 has jurisdiction over exhibit setup, including hanging signs and floor covering. An exhibitor’s own full-time employees can set up the exhibit with company ID, but hired non-union labor isn’t allowed.
The 2026 rules let exhibitors use exhibitor-appointed contractors (EACs) if they follow show and venue rules and carry insurance that includes $3,000,000 per occurrence in general liability.
GES’s 2026 kit notes that the Mandalay Bay facility isn’t carpeted, so exhibitors bring their own flooring or order it through Flooring Plus.
